Rainer chairs the investment committee, overseeing the decision-making process and ensuring that all investment activities align with the committee’s objectives. All committee members are entitled to vote and will actively participate in discussions, contributing their expertise and insights to the committee’s decision-making process. As a cohesive and well-coordinated team, the investment committee is committed to making sound, informed decisions that serve the best interests of investors.
Rainer Lang CIO & Founder - Chair Investment Committee Rainer has nearly 30 years of experience in asset management, with deep expertise in hedge funds and fund-of-hedge-fund strategies. He has held senior roles in London, New York, and Berlin, and has worked across the full asset-management value chain - from hedge fund research and manager selection to product structuring, portfolio construction, portfolio management, and distribution. His investment experience spans both liquid and illiquid markets, including private equity, private debt, and infrastructure. He holds a Master's degree in Finance. |
Tom O'Donnell external advisor - member investment committee Tom has over 30 years of experience in institutional asset management, including significant tenure at a major U.S. pension fund, where he managed the Global Equity Program and oversaw alternative investment initiatives such as Market Neutral and Managed Futures. Throughout his career, he has played a key role in educating institutional investors and financial advisors on alternative investments, with a focus on managed futures, global macro, and hedge fund strategies in currency and commodity markets. |
Alexandra Ammann EXTERNAL ADVISOR - mEMBER iNVESTMENT COMMITTEE Alexandra brings over 25 years of experience across Investment Banking, M&A, Capital Markets, and Wealth & Asset Management. She has lived and worked in both London and Frankfurt, holding a range of senior leadership roles throughout her career. Currently based in Geneva, Alexandra leads fund distribution at a multi-family office, where she is also an active member of the Investment Committee and serves on the Board of Directors. She holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance and Accounting from the University of St. Gallen. |
Urs Alder external advisor - member investment committee Urs is an asset management professional with over 20 years of experience in alternative investments, having lived and worked in the UK, the US, Australia, and Switzerland. Throughout his career, he has covered the full asset management value chain, including hedge fund research, product development, product structuring, and distribution. His expertise spans both liquid and illiquid alternative investments. |
Alfonso Papa external advisor - member investment committee Alfonso is a founder and independent business consultant with over 36 years of experience in the financial industry, including 26 years in senior leadership positions. He offers extensive expertise in asset management, institutional business development, and collective investment vehicles. Alfonso is a certified financial and alternative investment analyst, as well as a recognized expert in business administration and startup coaching. He also serves on the board of directors of an investment foundation regulated by the Occupational Pension Supervisory Commission (OPSC). |
